Tongan creative work needs stronger copyright protection

The protection of the creative works of Tongan writers, artists and other creators was the focus of a two-days seminar that was held in Nuku’alofa from January 14-15, when participants unanimously supported a conclusion that individuals in the core copyright industries need to form an organization to “collectively administer” their rights.
